Aida Nani, MBA
Founder and Managing Partner
Aida Nani is the Founder and Managing Partner of Stag Consult, bringing over 30 years of experience in trade facilitation, supply chain management, international standards, and cross-border development across Southeast Europe, the Western Balkans, and Southeast Asia.
Her career includes leadership roles in food and agriculture, renewable energy, and compliance consulting. As Country Director of Enso Hydro Energy, she oversaw one of the largest foreign direct investments in Albania’s renewable energy sector. Earlier, as founder of Alcred Food Processing, she built Albania’s leading frozen products exporter to the European Union.
Aida has delivered high-impact projects for the World Bank, IFC, EBRD, GIZ, and the European Union. Her expertise includes Authorized Economic Operator programs, ISO implementation, digital trade tools, food safety, sanitary and phytosanitary requirements. She served as a Lead Expert for GIZ, establishing and managing the Western Balkans AEO Association.
As a UN/CEFACT accredited expert, Aida contributes to international working groups on digital transit documents, export compliance, single window, and risk management in regulatory systems. She is a frequent speaker and moderator at regional forums.
Aida holds a Global Executive MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam School of Management and a Law degree from the University of Shkodra. She is certified in ISO 22000, HACCP, EMS, and holds certificates for Next Generation Trade Facilitation and Driving Business toward SDGs.
Kevin Atkinson, Founding Partner
Customs and Trade Facilitation Advisor
Kevin Atkinson is a Customs and Trade Facilitation Advisor with over 25 years of global experience in institutional governance, digital supply chain security, Authorized Economic Operator initiatives, and coordinated border management.
Kevin serves as an IMF Short Term Expert, delivering capacity building missions across Africa and Asia. He currently advises the IMF AFRITAC programs in West, East, and Southern Africa, working with customs administrations on compliance management, risk profiling, e-commerce controls, and AEO program development. He also serves as Customs and Trade Facilitation Advisor on a World Bank project in Lao PDR.
From 2018 to 2019, Kevin was the IMF Regional Customs Administration Advisor for Southeast Asia, supporting strategic planning initiatives in Myanmar, Cambodia, and Lao PDR. His career includes leadership roles with Crown Agents, where he managed customs reform programs in Albania, Angola, Ethiopia, and Libya.
Kevin is an accredited UN/CEFACT expert in the Trade Procedures Facilitation Domain and served as Domain Coordinator. He contributes to UN Recommendations on Single Window interoperability, public-private partnerships in trade facilitation, and private sector participation in National Trade Facilitation Committees.
He holds Post Graduate Diplomas in Leadership and Innovative Change from the University of York and in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Leicester. Kevin maintains current certifications from the IMF in compliance risk management, enterprise risk management, institutional governance, and strategic management.
